Having been founded by Colin Newby in the early 1990s as the Tuesday Singers, our choir has since undergone various changes of identity with different musical directors! In the early 2000s we became the Jubilee Singers under Mim Gallagher while a change of leadership to Val Crowe a few years later saw us become the Sheringham Singers. With a new MD we decided to become the New Sheringham Singers (NSS) under the direction of Ro Curtis who took over in 2013. Twelve years later, under her baton we have performed numerous concerts, participated in local music festivals and sung at many community events, raising money and supporting local causes and charities.
